At the end of nearly every wedding SKY Armory hosts, we hear the same question: "Where can I get more of that food?"
This is because at SKY Armory, we pride ourselves on producing fresh, well-crafted, farm-to-table meals that leave our guests happy but always wanting just a taste more. And since, for most people, weddings aren't an every day occasion, we came up with a solution to satisfy that desire: Pop-Up Dining.
Pop-Up Dining is a monthly special event where the SKY Armory culinary team and our bar team collaborate to create an exquisite five course meal, complete with wine pairings. Keep reading to learn when you can experience a Pop-Up, as well as see photos of January's event, featuring wines of the Lodi region.
First Course: Creamy Potato Leek Soup with Brie Crostini paired with Michael David Chardonnay
Second Course: Duck Confit Cassoulet paired with Three Fingered Jack Cabernet
Third Course: Caramelized Onion & Gorgonzola Stuffed Portobello Mushroom with Mesclun Greens in a Sherry-Sundried Tomato Vinaigrette paired with Michael David Freakshow Red Blend
Fourth Course: Coffee-Crusted Teres Major topped with a Tart Cherry Demi Glace and served with Roasted Shallot Smashed Potatoes paired with 1924 Bourbon Barrel-aged Cabernet
Fifth Course: Bavarian Chocolate Parfait with Espresso Cinnamon Marscarpone Cream and Spiced Praline Meringue paired with Michael David 7 Deadly Zins

On February 14, we'll hold our Valentine's Day Dinner, a four-course dinner with optional wine pairings, and from February 18-28 (excluding Feb. 23 & 24), we'll open to the public each evening as a pop-up restaurant for Downtown Dining Weeks.
