What types of corporate events can be hosted at SKY Armory?

We accommodate a wide range of corporate events, including conferences, meetings, awards events, product launches, networking events, team-building activities, board meetings, and holiday parties.

Where are you located?

SKY Armory is located in the heart of downtown Syracuse NY, easily accessible from the highways. Syracuse is the heart of New York State making it the perfect location for statewide meetings.

What is the venue capacity ?

SKY Amory has four event spaces that offer flexibility for corporate events from 20 – 400. If everyone does not need to be all together throughout the event, we can accommodate up to 800 guests throughout the building.

Do you have an outdoor space?

We have an outdoor patio area with outdoor seating for guests want to catch some fresh air (or smoke)

​

What days and times are available?

We book events for any day of the week. You choose your starting time; however we just ask that your end time be by 11:00pm.

​

Do you offer planning or coordinating services?

SKY Armory has a dedicated event planner to assist you through the planning process for a seamless event. Your event planner has expertise to help make recommendations on event flow, best use of space, access to various service providers and entertainment and is on-site during you event to ensure everything runs smoothly and help react to any of your last minute needs.

What is included in the Room Rental?

We include all tables, chairs, linens, napkins, plateware, serviceware, barware, podium with wireless mic tied into our house sound, dance floor. The room rental is based on the day of the week, number of hours required for the event and food and beverage spend.

Is there a minimum or maximum guest requirement?

We can accommodate small group meetings of 20+ up to 400.

Is there a food and beverage minimum spend requirement?

Typically, events are large enough that the food and beverage spend meets our expectations. For smaller events, we may require a food and beverage minimum.

Is there on-site catering, or do we need to bring in our own?

SKY Amory provides all catering needs; food, beverages, and desserts. We do not allow for outside catering.

Do you accommodate food allergies and dietary restrictions?

We work with all our clients to customize a menu and plan for any dietary accommodation. We always offer gluten free, dairy free and vegan options with our menu. We accommodate guest dietary restrictions and allergies as long as we know in advance. If we are informed during the event our culinary team will do their best to accommodate.

Are there hotels nearby?

We have 2 downtown hotels that we assist our clients with room blocks. The  Best Western is across the street and the Marriott Armory Square is two blocks away. There are also Airbnb’s within walking distance. Your guests will enjoy the amenities of downtown Syracuse and ease of walking to nearby restaurants, shops, museums and entertainment. We can give you tourism booklets of Public Art and Architecture Walking Tour to include in welcome bags.

What is the parking situation for guests?

There is ample parking nearby. We recommend #12, #13, and #18 on the Downtown Syracuse Parking Map, which are all within a 1 block walk. We can arrange for prepaid parking at the Atrium Garage for $15 per car.

Do you have Audio-Visual equipment?

We have an in-house sound system that we offer use of along with a podium and wireless microphones for our Wells and Coverly ballrooms. Addition AV needs are soured through Visual Technologies. Your event planner will coordinate the details with you. You are also welcome to bring your own equipment

Is Wi-FI available?

We offer complimentary Wi-Fi and no password requirement.

​

Are there any restrictions on décor and personalization?

At SKY Armory, we encourage branding your event to your organization or theme of the event. We have a large inventory of décor elements for rent and have a floral designer on our team.

Are there any restrictions on alcohol?

SKY Armory has a liquor license and liquor liability insurance and therefore, all beverages including alcohol must be provided by the venue. We only will serve alcoholic beverages to guests 21+ and reserve the right to ask for ID for anyone who appears to be a minor. We offer a variety of bar formats to choose from and your wedding planner can help guide the best option for your wedding. We do not serve shots. The bar closes 15 minutes prior to the end time of the reception.
