Say I Do in Winter 2025!

Winter Weddings are so romantic... imagine a room that twinkles with candlelight, a hint of evergreens and the big flakes of snow softly falling outside vast windows that look upon the winter streetscape.

If you’re engaged and looking for the perfect winter wedding venue in Syracuse, SKY Armory is offering an exclusive wedding package deal for winter 2025 couples!

We’re offering our winter couples (January-March) complimentary candlelight centerpieces when they say I do at SKY Armory. We have lots of wedding candle styles to choose from! But that’s not all . . . Book by April 1st and save $1,000 on the room rental!

Not only does SKY offer a great winter wedding deal, having been in the Syracuse wedding business for a while now, we know how beautiful winter weddings can be.

The Beauty of a Winter Wedding

Our Central New York wedding venue is located right in the heart of NY – which means that we definitely see our fair share of winter! And if you’re not a winter sport enthusiast, then winter might not be the most exciting time of the year for you. But winter can be one of the most beautiful times of year for a wedding. And at SKY, we know how to take a winter wedding and turn it into something magical.

Being that our Syracuse wedding venue is set right in the center of Downtown, our large ballroom windows have a fabulous view of the winter streetscapes. Admire the lights on the trees right outside the window, then look back to the wedding and see the beautiful string lights that drape across the ballroom ceiling.

The tables are lit up with candles that create a chic, glowy ambience. Whether its tapered candles, floating candles or another style, candles and a winter wedding aesthetic go hand in hand.

Beautiful greenery decorates the room too. It perfectly ties the lighting and the rest of the floral decor together.

And with the help of SKY Armory’s wedding planner, the couple has chosen the perfect colors that ideally complement the room’s ambience as well as their own personal style. SKY Armory is an all in one wedding venue, which means we have a wedding planner on staff to help take care of all of the decor. So coordinating the winter wedding decor was a seamlessly stress-free process for the couple.

But most beautiful of all is the bride who looks stunning against the entire winter ambience. Winter is truly a magical time for a wedding.

The Perfect Syracuse Wedding Venue for a Winter Wedding

While SKY isn’t an outdoor wedding venue, we do have a great outdoor space – perfect for winter wedding photos. Couples and the wedding party can access the rooftop next door to take gorgeous photos that overlook the winter streets of Downtown Syracuse.

We also have a new patio right outside of our building. During warmer weather, it’s a great spot for drinks by the fireplace or a cigar bar. And in the winter, the patio space that sits in front of SKY’s glass front makes for great wedding pictures in the snow.

And because our ballroom and ceremony space are inside, winter weather isn’t a threat to your special day – in fact no weather is. We like to say, the weathers always good in the SKY. Our full glass windows in the atrium and large vertical windows in the ballrooms ensure that you have the perfect view of what’s going on outside, while still staying cozy and comfortable in the three-story downtown building.

And lastly the urban chic aesthetic of our Syracuse wedding venue coincides perfectly with the aesthetic of a winter wedding. Whether you want a glamorous vibe or a soft snowy vibe for your winter wedding, our wedding planner can make it happen. At SKY it’s your venue, your way!
