Downtown Syracuse Parking

There are so many reasons to visit Downtown Syracuse. During the summer, there are plenty of fun festivals, like Jazz Fest, Taste of Syracuse, the Syracuse Arts & Crafts Festival and countless more. And year round, there are so many great bars and restaurants to try — like our restaurant on the first floor of SKY Armory, The Tasting Room. Or maybe you’re headed downtown to visit one of the many unique stores, attend a show at the Landmark Theatre, or attend a wedding or another event at SKY Armory. Whatever your reason for going downtown, you’re probably wondering about Downtown Syracuse parking.

Parking in Downtown Syracuse can seem overwhelming if you’re not sure where to look. The good news is that there are plenty of convenient parking spots in Downtown Syracuse. From free parking in Downtown Syracuse to parking garages near Armory Square, this map provided by the Downtown Comittee of Syracuse makes it simple:

If you’re attending an event at SKY Armory, you’ll notice that there is plenty of parking near SKY Armory and parking in Armory Square. Number 19 on the map, Clinton Street Garage is located directly adjacent to SKY Armory. We even have a walkway that leads from the garage to the building. The City Center Garage, Fayetteville Clinton Lot, Center Armory Garage and City Lot #21 are all only a few minutes walk from the doors of SKY Armory and other businesses in Downtown Syracuse.

And of course there is plenty of street parking. Street parking is metered from 9a-6p Monday-Saturday, and you can pay either at the meter or on your phone. If you’re attending an evening event in Downtown Syracuse, you won’t have to worry about paying for street parking, just make sure to plan accordingly to give yourself time to look for a spot. On days when there is an event in Downtown Syracuse, finding a spot can take longer than usual.

If you’ve parked on the S Salina St side, you can enter SKY Armory through The Tasting Room (during business hours), rather than walking all the way around the block to the back. Be sure to check our store, Epicuse, located next door to The Tasting Room while you’re here.

Hope to see you in Downtown Syracuse soon!
