SKY Armory is one of the few truly unique wedding venues in Syracuse, NY. We have three loft-style ballrooms that can accommodate weddings for 50-400. We start with a blank canvas that can be easily transformed to reflect your style and personality. Your wedding at SKY includes the amenities most wedding venues charge extra for: Chiavari chairs (mahogany or silver), floor length linens in over 40 colors to choose from, ambient room uplighting and washes, dance floor (wood, black, black & white), lounge furniture, and more. 

When you choose SKY, your full-service wedding planner will handle as many of the details as you like, so you can enjoy this exciting time, rather than getting stressed by the details. We offer the option of complete customization so that your wedding is truly tailored to you as a couple. From working with our talented culinary team on personalizing your menu featuring fresh from-scratch food to selecting design elements and floral arrangements (we have endless options), we let you do anything you want. 

Your SKY experience begins with a private tour of the venue with our sales manager. Once you’ve booked, your wedding planner will guide you through the planning process and stay by your side right up through the wedding day. Our culinary team will customize your menu with you and our event and floral designer will help you create the perfect look. 

Our team has decades of experience creating the most breathtaking and memorable wedding receptions and ceremonies.

SKY Menu Packages

Below are our wedding packages and what is included in each. Once you've selected your package, you may select any entrée from that package or any of the less expensive packages. You may also select 1 entree from the package one level above yours for an additional $5.00/person.

All entrées can be customized for seasonal, ethnic or regional flavors; all entrée sides and sauces can be customized. Pricing based on customization. If not specified in the description, all entrees are served with two fresh seasonal sides.

  • Planning Your Celebration

    Bliss. It’s the only emotion a couple should feel on their big day. This simple belief is at the heart of everything we do to prepare for a wedding reception and ceremony at SKY Armory. We strive to provide the most complete service to ensure the process of planning your wedding is effortless and stress-free. When you choose SKY Armory, you can relax on your day, knowing your wedding will be amazing.

    The months leading up to your wedding don't need to be full of sleepless nights. Our simple planning process will ensure all the details are meticulously managed so you can focus on what’s truly important: your relationship and the new life you’re about to start together.

    Whether you have a long engagement or short, your Wedding Planner will handle as many of the details as you want to hand over—our out-of-town brides love this about us.  

    • Getting to know you: At your first meeting, we spend time getting to know more about you as a couple and your style. We'll discuss your priorities, expectations, required service providers and your budget.

    • Planning your perfect event: Once we have an idea of the big picture, we can start working on the details. We’ll connect you with service providers as you build your event team. We invite you to a design & menu meeting where you meet with our Design Team to discuss layout, linens, lighting, centerpieces and other décor elements. Our Culinary Team will discuss your food preferences and dislikes to create a customized menu that fits your party.  With all this information, we prepare your event order that outlines all of the details, amenities, and associated costs.  Your planner is there to answer questions, listen to your needs, and keep you in the loop.

    • That’s a wrap:  Your final meeting is the Wrap Up, where we review all final event details and timing, answer any questions you may have, and take possession of your wedding items.

    • The Big Day! Get ready and have a fabulous celebration – we’ll take care of everything else.

    Your wedding planner will ensure that your wedding goes off as planned, and you get hitched without a hitch! Each SKY Armory event also includes its own management team, consisting of an event coordinator to keep the event on schedule and attend to your needs, and an event services manager to oversee the wait staff and your culinary experience, plus the bar staff and beverage services. 

    SKY Armory is owned and managed by event planners whose passion is creating the perfect wedding celebration. Our team is dedicated to the details, the special touches, and to creating a memorable experience that your guests will still be talking about at your 50th wedding anniversary.

All of these (and dozens of looks in between) have been dreamed and designed at SKY. Our Wedding Planner and Designer will work with you to create the perfect look that embraces your style and personalities.

    We start by discovering your style--go ahead, pin away and send us the link to your Pinterest board and photos of your gown (You’ll be surprised how much the wedding gown helps drive the event design). Our Designer starts the process with your linen selection and have unlimited color, texture, and pattern combinations to choose from. Then it’s on to centerpieces. Choose from our large inventory of containers, candle holders, and other fun items to create centerpieces from--keep it simple with lots of candlelight or fill the room with floral or a nice combination. Because we have open rafter-style ceilings, we can do all sorts of hanging treatments over guest tables or in key focal areas. 

    In addition to the included amenities (see the next button), we also offer:

    • A wide selection of chargers, vintage china, stemware, and flatware to choose from

    • Special interactive features such as a cigar bar

    • Your event planner, who will attend your event, paying close attention to each detail to ensure every part of the plan comes together exactly as intended. 
    • Your event coordinator, who keeps the event on schedule and attends to your needs
    • Your event services manager to oversee the wait staff and your culinary experience, plus the bar staff and beverage services.

    How many guests can SKY Armory accommodate?

    Our more than 20,000 square feet of event space can accommodate anywhere from 100 to 400 guests.

    Can you accommodate an on-site wedding ceremony, as well as a reception?

    Yes. SKY Armory couples have two options: We can hold the ceremony in our Betts on 1 ballroom and the reception in another, or depending on the size of your party, we can design the room layout in such a way that the ceremony and reception can be held in the same space.

    I don’t want a cookie cutter wedding. Can you help make sure that doesn’t happen?

    Funny you should ask, because ‘cookie cutter’ is everything we strive NOT to be. Many event spaces call themselves ‘unique wedding venues,’ yet, while they may have some unique features, most wedding receptions usually feel pretty similar to one another. (Don’t you agree?) SKY Armory is different . . . dazzling . . . extraordinary. Our space, ambience, location, planning process, enhanced amenities, exceptional cuisine, and meticulous staff will ensure your event is memorable, magnificent, and unlike any event your guests have ever attended. 

    Can you take care of . . . ?

    Yes! We can provide whatever services, equipment, décor, ingredients, ANYTHING you desire.

    What about audio-visual equipment for speeches and photo presentations?

    Yes – we can do that, too. We’ll even have your presentation all set up and ready to go so you can avoid that embarrassing moment of technical difficulty that happens far too frequently at events.

    Is SKY Armory accessible for disabled guests?

    Yes. We designed SKY Armory with all types of guests in mind. We want everyone to be able to enjoy our gorgeous venue as fully as possible.

    Will your event planners really plan my event?

    You’ll find the term event planner used loosely at other venues; the person may help you book your room and show you the menu options, but they aren’t helping to manage the details along the way or the logistics on the day of the event. SKY Armory is run by event planners that will plan every detail of the event for and with you. You are welcome to be involved in the process if you want to be but, if that’s not your thing, then we’ll take care of everything and make you look good.

    Where do my guests park?

    SKY Armory is attached to the Clinton Street Garage via a pedestrian bridge. We make coming downtown easy. We can arrange for pre-paid parking for your guests. There is also street and open lot parking nearby. Click here for more parking information.

    SKY Armory has an in-house culinary team led by our talented executive chef. Each of our chefs comes from the restaurant side of food service and has experience as an executive chef, so they are well-versed in a wide range of cooking techniques and cultural styles.
